Terms of Service

By accessing or using Meridian, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Meridian.

Meridian is a plant grow tracking and space planning platform. Features include grow journaling, nutrient calculators, grow space builder with equipment simulation, environmental monitoring and data import, AI-powered diagnostics and personalized grow recommendations, community showcase, and public gardener profiles. The platform offers both a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Features may be added, modified, or removed over time as the platform evolves.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each person may maintain only one account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. Meridian reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through Account Settings, which will remove your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform using automated tools. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Meridian or its proprietary algorithms. Reproducing, duplicating, or reselling the equipment catalog data, nutrient databases, or simulation algorithms is prohibited. You may not use bots or automated tools to access the service, attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems, upload malicious content, use the service for any illegal purpose, or harass other users.

Meridian and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Arclight Holdings LLC, doing business as Grow Meridian ("Meridian"). The equipment catalog, nutrient databases, simulation models, and PPFD algorithms are proprietary. User-generated content including journal entries, photos, and grow data remains the property of the user who created it. By submitting content to the Showcase, you grant Meridian a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform. You may not copy, modify, or distribute Meridian's proprietary tools, calculators, or data without express written permission.

Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Subscription prices may change with at least 30 days advance notice. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. AI credits that have been consumed are non-refundable.

Your use of Meridian is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes the data we collect and how it is used. In summary, we collect account data, grow data, and usage analytics. We do not sell your personal data. Data is stored on Supabase (cloud-hosted). You can export or delete your data at any time.

Meridian's AI features — including the diagnostic assistant, photo analysis, consumption estimates, and grow recommendations — are built on Meridian's proprietary knowledge base, diagnostic protocols, and plant intelligence engine. These features are provided for informational purposes only. Meridian does not guarantee the accuracy of any AI output. You should not rely solely on AI recommendations for critical growing decisions. The underlying AI technology may be updated over time to improve accuracy and capabilities.

Meridian is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation of the service, nor do we warrant the accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose. Equipment catalog data is sourced from manufacturers and we are not responsible for specification inaccuracies. PPFD maps, environmental simulations, and calculator outputs are mathematical approximations and may differ from real-world conditions.

Arclight Holdings LLC and its affiliates ("Meridian") shall not be liable for any crop loss, equipment damage, or other consequences arising from your use of the platform, its tools, calculators, AI features, or simulation outputs. In no event shall Arclight Holdings LLC's total liability exceed the amount you have paid to Meridian in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Meridian may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time through Account Settings. Upon termination, your data may be retained for up to 30 days before permanent deletion, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of Meridian after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of Meridian shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
