A grow space in Meridian represents your physical growing area — a tent, a room, a closet, a greenhouse, or anything else. It's where your plants live and where environment data gets associated.
After creating your space, add the equipment that lives in it:
When you ask the AI a question about a plant in this space, it knows what light you're running, what fan you have, and what controller is managing your environment. This makes its answers much more specific.
Environment targets tell Meridian (and the AI) what conditions you're aiming for:
If you connect sensors, Meridian compares your actual readings against these targets and flags when things drift out of range.
When creating a new plant, you'll pick which space it lives in. You can also move plants between spaces from the plant detail page.
All environment data from connected sensors flows through the space — every plant in that space shares the same environment readings.
Growing in more than one area? Create a space for each. Each space has its own equipment, targets, sensors, and plants. The dashboard shows all spaces at a glance.
